When I first started to even think about eliminating dairy my first thought was- what will I do without ranch??
I really stopped and got sad to think about having chicken wings plain... LOL. And what would I dip all of the THINGS in?? Slight panic seeped in, and I sought out to make some immediately. If that doesn't shed some light onto what sort of person I am, then I don't know what else does.
This dressing is my go to. The base is what I use when making a lot of my other variations of dairy free dressings, which I will be adding to my blog soon!
Feel free to up the ante and add some spice or dill in, the possibilites really are endless!
Dairy Free Ranch
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chicken broth (unsalted)
1 medium yellow onion, roughly chopped
4 cloves freshly peeled garlic
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
1/2 tablespoon garlic & herb seasoning
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a food processor, blend until smooth.
Taste, add additional salt & pepper if desired.
Best kept stored in a glass container. Keep refrigerated for up to 7 days.
Yields 16 oz
