Ingredients:
4 ripe avocados
2 ice cube trays
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons pink Himalayan salt
1 medium size pot
Directions:
Cut avocados in half, remove pit and peel skin. Slice into halves once again and put into your pot. Add the 1/2 cup of water and salt. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
Pour into your food processor and pulse until a smooth consistency is reached. If you see the avocado being "too chunky" feel free to add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Pour contents into a large ziploc bag, and snip the corner tip off. Pipe into ice cubes and freeze overnight.
Remove cubes and place into individual ziplocs for easy freezing.
Our feeding at 6 months consists of 2 cubes at a time, so that is how I bag them. It makes for easy reheating, approximately 45 seconds in the microwave and you're set!
